Blueberries for Sal - The Fun Continues...

We continued with the fun based on the book "Blueberries for Sal"... within the activity packet, we learned about the different types of bears with the sort and match cards that I've created (idea adapted from the Montessori Materials)

In this game, Tim had to match the pictures as well as the name of each bear separately.
He extended the fun (without my prompting) by matching the fridge magnet toy bears against the picture of the real bears... not bad huh? *smile*
This game, Tim matched the Upper Case of the alphabets against the Lower Case of the alphabets...didn't want to overwhelm Tim with all the alphabets... I just laid out the first 5 of the alphabets to let him have some fun. This was taken from the lapbook (that was mentioned in my previous post)... I just laminated and cut the alphabets individually for this game.
We did another matching game...this time it's on the different types of berries... likewise, Tim had to match the picture and the names of the berries separately... he even asked me to give him some Cloudberries to try...*grin*
Tim requested for the whiteboard pens to draw on the board...and we ended our home learning with me writing the names of each insect/animal and had Tim say out loud the alphabets that formed the names of the insect/animals... (he made me draw the picture of the insect/animals... not very fantastically done but he was satisfied with them...) *smile*

I think your drawings are actually quite good. I'm afraid to say that my children draw much better than I do!
